Enough Eat Plants, Robots Can “live”
Scientists in the United States are developing sophisticated robot that is unique. Because, with just ‘eat’ plant, robots are still able to continue “living.”
Yes, the robot can find the resources independently relying on Biomass energy is there in the natural surrounding.
Robot called Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot (EATR) will be used for dangerous jobs, such as for military purposes. Research funded by the United States defense, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Equipped with a sensor system, EATR will be able to detect and take Biomass energy in the surrounding environment, such as in plants. Once processed independently in the body, Biomass energy will become a source of electricity to charge the battery.
However, if necessary, EATR that developed by Cyclone Power Technologies company also can use conventional fuel such as gasoline and diesel fuel.
Currently, this robots are in the new initial phase of development. Not yet determined when the robot can be enabled in the “real life.”
