IBM always create computers that has a super power. After creating fastest supercomputer in the world, IBM now creating a computer that claimed has strength equivalent to two million laptops.

Computer technology called Sequoia has the performance up to 20 petaflop per second. Petaflop means able to perform the process at the level quadrillion operations per second (1 quadrillion = 1 million billion).

Sequoia system consists of 1.6 million processor with 96 shelves.

This system will be used for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, United States Department of Energy.

Sequoia and a smaller computer (called the Dawn) is used to simulate nuclear tests. It also efficiently to predict the weather and oil exploration.
